Words spread through the Elysium, and through the society of the Camarilla as a whole. These words are those of the Harpies, and not words to be tossed aside lightly. They shape, sculpt, make and break.

Can you believe it? A member of the camarilla in the mortal news, and not in a flattering light.
Little hard evidence is known to the kine thankfully but it would seem four mortal policemen were killed in Deputy Pelliden Rieves apartment during questioning.
The careful neonate is quick to remember the words of Ventrue's own Gareth Winchester during his most recent lecture. And be careful that our tenuous position not be weakened by hasty bloodshed. As true guardians of the Masquerade.

It would seem that in the preparations for the comming Anarch purge the prince has turned primary control of the offices of the court to none other than Gareth Winchester. Shortly after assuming proxy control of the court the Ventrue Primogen released a series of new rules-

1. There shall be no violence within the inviolable walls of Elysium. All weapons will be handed to the guards upon entrance, with the exception of those who hold the power to punish within Elysium, and the guards.

-Not a terrible rule, though it speaks to the sad times we are in that camarilla must beware our own from within.

2. There will be no use of Disciplines within the walls of Elysium. Aggressive, or friendly, it does not matter. The only exception to this are those who hold the power to punish within Elysium, and the guards.

-Again, what sad days.

3. No ghouls shall be allowed into Elysium, with the exception of those which guard it. Ghouls brought into Elysium will kindly be parted with their heads. There is no exception to this rule. Those who bring their ghoul into Elysium, risk the same punishment, at the discretion of the Prince himself.

4. Elysium shall not be spoken of outside of Elysium. These are cautious times. In a city where the Camarilla is not the authority, those who do not join it, shall not benefit from it. Vampires of an independent nature shall /not/ find sanctuary there.

-In this harpy's opinion it has been long in comming. With such a powerful anarch state we cannot possibly expect those who lack such faith as to fully join the camarilla to support us in due dilligence of our most holy of missions to keep our secrets safe. Still, rumor has it, though I have not seen it yet myself. That the interim prince has released word that despite the tight funds of our sect in these modern nights that he has commissioned a new elysium for those who remain independent. While generous I cannot help but feel that this is a bit of a squandering of the sects funds, but with full optomisim that the estemed primogen has some greater scheme in mind and that this investment shall be returned ten-fold.

Upon the journey to Los Angeles, can you believe! I was set upon by Sabbat. Vicious savages! Youll all be absolutely thrilled to know that I am perfectly fine, however! Indeed, the real victim was my marvelous wardrobe. Such a travesty! Absolute Philistines. Though, this tale is not without a happy ending, of course! Oh, no, no. Our wonderful Prince, Gabriel Bennet and our charming Scourge, Gareth Winchester came to my aid in a show of magnanimous chivalry. Such is the sad state of this city that it was even necessary for them to do so! Anarchs run amok and Sabbat scoundrels set upon travelers. How dreadful.

Our strength here does not lie in numbers or in brute force. Instead, it lies in intellect. Do remember that, if you take away nothing else. Too long have the pathetic rabble held sway in this area. Sabbat ghouls spread like the plague - even infesting the police department who have, too often as of late, been used as a weapon against us! The future promises to be quite interesting indeed.

"..Mmhm. I've heard it too. That Gareth, the fox. Left the Los Angeles Camarilla and went off to gallavant like he always does! He opened a club off of Vine, up north and near Santa Monica. An astounding place. But what else could be expected from someone as old and known as he? The top level is pushing it a bit. I mean, bondage? We all do it. But not in public! The scandal. There's a lovely meeting spot for politcs and discussion though. Tacky name, but it gets the point across. And an absolutely /charming/ place for Salsa dancing! Some sort of pit at the bottom. I haven't been to that part, yet. I don't care for getting roughed up by a bunch of grabby-handed hooligans. The only downfall to the place is the sheer amount of Anarchs there. Lousy vagrants. One of them tried to bait me into a fight, but security stepped in, thankfully. It does seem to be a well-ran establishment. It should definitely be Camarilla owned, so that we can eject all of the rabble there..".

*Rumors around Elysium in the previous nights*

Firstly, I will start by introducing myself. I haven't been in LA long, so of course you don't know who I am. Business before pleasure, I have to think, though it's hardly my style. It's -lovely- to see all of us coming back together after the recent years of complete disaster, and I'm quite sure with proper guidance we'll have this little rebel problem sorted. I can be greeted as Macha Lucilacu, or in more simple, familiar terms such as one of the blood of Toreador. It's all very much the same. I look forward, very much, to meeting everyone and opening the relationships to those secret black hearts that I've already met. How I adore starting conversations.

I'm overly thrilled at the lovely Gabriel Bennet taking such control of our hands like lost children. Don't let this fool you, because the reasons are cunning enough. His recent declarations outline some of our greatest traditions to remind us all of them. I was struck dizzy about the commands of war. Armed? Me? I can pick up sheet music for the first time and know it completely, but if I weapon fell into my hand it would be no better off than a dinner fork (which clearly isn't something I would carry with me). On the other hand, if anyone is interested in providing a gun for me, I suppose I would use it if I had to. Dreggish rabble. What times have we come down to? Therefore, I do have to agree that this city is a bit out of sorts, and so I've found all matters of company willing to escort.

In these seemingly hopeful times, I find myself attending the Elysium more often, though of course we all have our little connections that we can't disappear for nights at a time. The company is just brilliant most nights. Our new Sheriff is amazingly full of charm, and quite a few that I've met are taking radical steps to further our cause. Our beloved Prince spends his nights worrying about the change for all of us, and I for one, plan to be a part of it. The street rabble have had their fun, and we've had our rest. It's time to make it quite clear that masquerade breakers, murders, and kidnappers have run out of precious time under the sparkling brilliance of the Camarilla.

Trapped inside of Hotel California by safety order from our exquisite Mister Bennett. If anyone knew, even the Seer of Los Angeles didn't expect it to get this bad.

The power was shut off, and while this is only a mild inconvience, I could stand not to have to do without running water, and the slew of life-drunk mortals that nearly stepping into your arms. The invention of the modern club where people writhe, lick, and touch is this woman's opinion of Kindred good planning. However, after a city wide evacuation of almost ten million people, and those lovely pioneers "Plants" committing themselves over night to repopulating in just as great numbers, leave all the city like a wasteland. Captured by nature.

And, after what I've heard was a rather silly expression of a beast that isn't supposed to exist ripped through the Hotel, we're all banned to the lower floors. There's no end to this Hell, I'm honestly sure. Bless our times that we have such the gathering that we do to pass time until goals are back to their normal sort of survival, rather than this scared cling to life.

Gabriel Bennett, our lovely Prince, is doing his best to keep us all settled and safe. His strong words have reached my ears more than once in a tune that makes me believe he has enough conviction to beat back this onset of traps and animals, and have even, with my own eyes, seen him bleed for our safety to even step to the front doors for a glimpse of the world we're waiting for. Brilliant man, and I would give nothing less than anything he asked if I thought it would allow us to persevere.

We're fortunate enough, also, to have the company of one, Valentine Carmina, who brings at least enough wit and distraction to tolerate our violent surroundings. An extremely beautiful companion, Mister Carmina has done nothing but enhance our atmosphere and keep us, in the very least, drenched with lavish words and a reminder of the more polite times.

Markus Freystadt, wonderful Seneschal, is working beautiful magic to keep what's left of our dreaming Elysium in the same workings as previous nights... despite the clear rationalization that our ways have to change in such trying times. He's as well spoken as he is well thought, and I will share some of the ideas that he's shared with me pertaining to our grand traditions in our safe havens. Nothing that shouldn't already be known, but words that, in such times, should certainly be respoken and learned for those that did not know them before.

Written by the steady hand of Mister Freystadt:

Whereas I do acknowledge that we are in times of peril, and that we as a race must band together to survive this ordeal the question of: If we survive comes into play. Therefore, be it enacted upon this day, by decree of my position and in the best interests of Bennett:

Any Kindred who has not been introduced and enters into the Elysium shall be ejected and/or punished.

Any Kindred who wishes to be introduced must contact Mademoiselle Lucilacu as per her position to be introduced to Freystadt or Bennett.

Any mortal brought into Elysium shall be destroyed, killed, ejected, or maimed and that the Kindred who has brought them in shall be punished.

Any mortal must have the strict permission from Bennett, or myself pending the approval of Bennett, to enter our most sacred haven.

Really. Just the thought that someone would allow a mortal into our gathering places makes me fairly sick. I understand that these are very difficult times, but any ghoul or mortal that you're protecting should have been safely sent out with the rest of the humans. Food source, or otherwise, we have enough to concentrate on that doesn't involve keeping them alive.

Monsters and demons outside of our walls are driving more and more inside. Just the other evening, I was comfortable in the lobby for another night of idle revelry, and a beast of a man came through our doors wearing armor, weapons, and the face of a moving picture devil. Barrabus, he called himself, ranting about drinking the blood of virgins and being praised as a God! God indeed. With such manners. And what does he do? Threaten me! What times we've been degraded to that I must suffer insults and promises of violence from a man... or animal... that I've never met.

Obviously, I would be thrilled to talk to any Kindred that hasn't introduced themselves to Mister Bennett! I'm not so hard to get in touch with, as everyone knows, and would certainly be most honored to arranging meetings between Mister Bennett, Mister Freystadt, and any new Kindred!

The gratious and ever knowing prince of New york malkav Kechikov Has given the Kindred of LA a new Home for settling in house disputes.

After many Months of having several Unofficial Elysiums, the Prince of New york has give us an underground lair for us to meet.

The lair is underneath the Book and DvD shop on Santa Monica, Pass the old lady, and move down towards the Hall.

***

Have you heard of our prince Gabriel, No, I havent seen him in Weeks, New Cammarilla join the city and leave quickly because no one knows who to present themselves too..

The Anarchist grow stronger and we grow weaker and eaker by the night, I heard his left the city and gone to the east coast or even France!

***

The new Prince has been seen around town and about Elysium a lot in the past two weeks. Did you hear he's requesting vials of blood from the members of the Court, and a select few about the city? I hear they've done it in all the major cities, and it's not a bad idea with reflection on our prior luck. Cold, though, isn't he? Maybe that's why his Court looks like it does, as they're all very well spoken. I've heard rumors of a meeting being planned, likely with introductions and all the rest, but the Seneschal has been about Elysium with enough excitement that she could be planning a royal wedding of some sorts.

A new voice adds to the whispers that spread all around the Elysium...

The new Prince seems a strong one, if distant from his Court for the time being. The thought of surrendering a vial of blood is unsettling to be sure but in these times it's an all too necessary sacrifice. Better to lose the blood to our leader than to our enemies.

After the disappearance of our last Prince, our city being turned into a literal urban jungle and the worries mounting over the number of Anarchs it's empowering to see this Kindred stepping up to take control.

Our numbers may be small for now, but with such a commanding force to hold us together I'm sure our ranks will grow and we will drive the scum from our city for good.

And now with talk of a gathering being planned by the Prince and our lovely Seneschal we'll have the perfect opportunity to size everything up. This won't be something to skip.

Some say silence is golden. They've obviously never sat through one so uncomfortable as this. Never in all my time spent in LA has everything been so quiet that it becomes unsettling, until now.

The Court seems to be at a standstill, smothered in an oppressive lack of action, a deathly emptiness, a halt in conversation and interaction between its members. This must end soon.

I don't pretend to know all. Perhaps there are things being planned in secret we are not meant to know of until the time is right. Perhaps somewhere outside the safe confines of the Elysium we speak freely to one another while biting our tongues as best we can. Perhaps the battle against the hoards overrunning our home has become one of silence and patience unmeasured. All I know is this. If silence is truly golden, it must be tarnished.
