The warmth of daylight crept in on the darkness beneath the interstate overpass, stirring a young man from his slumber. Sieg was his name and he'd come to make himself forget his last. Over time he decided that if even he didn't recognize it, maybe the cops wouldn't. Of course, he didn't care just how wrong he was about that. He'd chosen to sleep here the night before as he'd learned to do so so many times before on the move. After all, where else was he supposed to go? The homeless shelter? No, not after the last time he ran through one back in Montgomery before his trip to New Orleans.

Some would never guess him what he was from his way of living now, hell sometimes he wondered why he hadn't fallen into step with the Bone Gnawers. Only mother could know.

The warmth of light still crept inward upon him, warming the cold chills away from his bones from the night as he shifted back against the concrete wall, "I need to get a job, but to get a job you gotta have a place to live, and to have a place ta live ya gotta have money. Ta have money, ya've gotta have a job." He reached down and picked his laptop case up to set on his lap as his legs crossed before him, his stomach growling from the night before. Funny how easy it was to knick the thing in travel.

Carefully he slipped the top of the thing open before him and hit the power button only to find the thing dead. Someone once called me a momma's boy. Maybe I am if i'm willing to do this. Her grace guide me.
