Training Skills:

Training a skill to one, costs three XP.

Training a skill to two, costs two XP.

Training /any/ skill to three, means that you are seeking to become above-average at it. You'll stand out when using it. If you want to train a skill to three, not only does it cost four XP, but you'll need to send in at least one RP log of you, training that skill, or doing something that would relate to the increase in that skill. Another alternative would be to let us know, via request, when you are doing the RP, and if someone can watch, then they will.

Training to both four and five will cost 6 and 8 XP, respectively and both will require a lot of justification and RP. Having 5 at a skill pretty much means that you're one of the top in the world in that field, at the moment.

Training Attributes:

Training an attribute to two, is going to cost four XP.

Training an attribute to three, is going to cost eight XP.

Training an attribute to four is going to cost 12 XP, and some justification, via RP logs, or having an ST watch some RP that would involve training it.

Training an attribute to five is going to take a /lot/ of justification and RP, and require 16 XP.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask an ST. Training these things are not just about raising them as high as you can. I'd like to see some RP that involves it. This is an RP game. Do it. Have some fun!

Training Thaumaturgy Rituals

The player needs to make an extended roll (Intelligence + Occult) for each new ritual that they want to learn.

The number of success required is the level of the ritual times seven, plus 10:
Level 1 - 17 successes
Level 2 - 24 successes
Level 3 - 31 successes
Level 4 - 38 successes
Level 5 - 45 successes

The difficulty of the roll is based on the level of the ritual that the character would like to learn:
Levels 1 and 2 - difficulty 7
Levels 3 and 4 - difficulty 8
Level 5 - difficulty 9

Each new ritual will cost TWO times the ritual rating in XP:
Level 1 - 2 XP
Level 2 - 4 XP
Level 3 - 6 XP
Level 4 - 8 XP
Level 5 - 10 XP
