When you roleplay on a mud, you spend a lot of time with text. Yes. Words. Those very primal and basic clusterings of syllable and sound that string together to form coherent and suitable replacements for wild hand waving and exotic gesturing. Words can stir up an imagination better than a picture can sometimes, and for some people. They are the bread and butter of a practiced and efficient roleplayer. Thus, I bring to thee thy Word of the Week topic.
Each week, staff will provide you with a specific word. It won't be a common word, or one that most people tend to use much. If we catch you using this word during roleplay, we will reward you a vote. However, we must catch you. Don't run up to us, go 'I USED IT I SWEAR.' That's the rules. Simple, huh? An easy way to earn votes.
Note: Use of the word must make sense, as defined by the definition of it. |
